Working GroupsTo date, the DAT Collaborative has established two technical working groups to focus on DAT APIs, together with a Marketing Working Group.The Kernel Technical Working Group focused on defining the objectives, requirements and specification, of the kernel-level (kDAPL) APIs, with future plans to create a reference implementation. For more details see the kDAPL page. The User Technical Working Group focused on defining the objectives, requirements and specification of the user-level (uDAPL) APIs. For more details see the uDAPL page. A number of the UTWG member companies are now contributing to an open source reference implementation of the ratified uDAPL APIs. This development effort is hosted on Source Forge. See Reference Implementations for more details. |
